We're going to play Manhunt!!

First: we've gotten some questions about our gift registry--we're really just so happy to have you at our wedding.  BUT, since there will be some people who want to give a gift, we do have an on-line registry http://patrickandmc.zankyou.com/us  (We're hoping to do a cross-country road trip for our honeymoon!) Now!  Onto the game!

Since our first date was a game of Manhunt (with the excellent Rachel Wade, Dan Wade, Becky Augustine and a passel of other friends), we're planning to play some rounds of Manhunt. All ages are invited to play, although since this game will include grown-ups, the tiniest ones may need a big person with them.  This game is entirely optional--if you'd rather sit back and enjoy a beer with good folks, or take a hike in the woods, go right ahead!  There will also be dancing (of course!)

How to play manhunt:

• Split into two groups
• One group hides while the other group hunts for that group.
• The hiders must try to get back to their team's base before being caught by the hunters.
• If you are a hider, and are tagged by a hunter, you join the hunter group.
• How to win:
• Hiding team wins if most of the people in that team make it to home base
• Hunting team wins if most of the people in the hiding team are tagged

Other things to do (besides enjoying a drink, dancing, or playing Manhunt)

We also have walking trails on site (Ingalls also abuts a Land Trust preserve called "Butternut Hill"), and there is even access to the lake on the Land Trust side, so if you are brave/cold-hardy, you could even bring a bathing suit!
